We currently offer Christian Education for all ages and welcome all people, especially visitors, to attend! Children's Classes - Sundays at 10:00 AM (basement) Adult Class - Sundays at 10:00 AM (sanctuary) Services of Worship We currently have two traditional services of worship on the Lord's Day and invite all to come worship Our Lord with us! Sundays at 11:00 AM (sanctuary) Sundays at 3:30 PM (sanctuary) Holy Hour of Prayer On the first Sunday of the month, from 1 PM to 2 PM, White Memorial WMC opens its sanctuary for anyone to come in and pray. This holy hour designated as a time of prayer, especially praying that we glorify God in through our church, as well as for the salvation and sanctification of the souls in our community. During this time, we also welcome anyone to come for any portion of the hour to pray for their personal needs. Sacraments Holy Communion is celebrated on the 1st Sunday of each month and all are welcome to receive this means of grace with us. Holy Baptism is offered throughout the year and is scheduled after contacting the minister. Rites Holy Matrimony is offered throughout the year and is scheduled after contacting the minister. Anointing of the Sick is offered throughout the year and is scheduled after contacting the minister. Christian Funerals are offered throughout the year and are scheduled after contacting the minister. The Lovefeast is offered periodically throughout the year during our services of worship. Ministries and Activities A Fellowship Lunch follows the Sunday morning service of worship. It is held at the parsonage and details are provided every Sunday for this. We each bring our own lunch and chat with one another. All are welcome to attend and become a part of our church family! The Evangelism Committee meets at White Memorial WMC at 1:00 pm on Sundays after our Fellowship Lunch and then reaches out to our neighborhood through door to door evangelism. All persons are welcome to join our Evangelism Committee. Please contact our pastor to let him know that you would like to participate or simply ask one of the friendly faces in our congregation about it. Acolytes light our altar candles and ring the church bell to call our community to prayer or worship. If you are interested in serving as an acolyte, please contact our pastor. Ushers take up our collection of tithes and offerings during our Sunday worship services. If you are interested in serving as an usher, please contact our pastor. |
